Habitat for Humanity
In July 2007, Nascar driver, Jeff Burton joined our staff as we helped build a home for Habitat for Humanity (sponsored by Home Depot). It was a great day despite the occasional torrential rain-fall, a broken window, and a group of women whose skill level for building a house is limited to watching "Tim the tool man". But hey...we were all very proud of our contribution!

• Dr. Dixon is a huge Nascar fan, and Jeff Burton gladly posed for a picture with him.
• Our staff and the new home owner quickly joined in for a picture with Jeff as well.
• Dr. Walker should think twice about quitting her "day job". Her Orthodontic skills sure out weigh her carpentry skills!

Mountain Bike Winners
Every year, Dr. Walker and Dr. Dixon present two patients (one from our Shadeland office and one from our Fishers location) with a new mountain bike! Beginning in June and ending around Labor Day, our patients have several chances at winning the bicycles by demonstrating excellent hygiene. This year's winners are: Aaron Kittell from the Fishers office and Adam Roembke from the Shadeland office. Congratulations!

Halloween 2007
Fast forward to Halloween Day — Orthodontic style!!! It's become quite the tradition for our staff to celebrate!

• Lab technician, Elba is ready for combat. Assistant, Diane is certainly "No Dummy". Assistant, Nancy gives Beetlejuice a run for his money, and assistant, Kaylyn is not your average mummy!
• Treatment Coordinator, Jan makes it a "habit" not to dress like this every day. Assistant, Angi and office manager, Jennifer are Queens of "De"Nile. Insurance coordinator, Cindy is feelin' the groove, and receptionist, Bonnie serves more than a friendly face, wearing her son's Quiznos uniform.
• Don't miss Dr. Walker in her acting debut as Elphaba the wicked witch, in the musical production of Wicked (date yet to be scheduled). We're not sure if that is Dr. Dixon or Tom Cruise in "The Last Samurai". However; Dr. Dixon is quite disciplined in the ancient practice of Ninja martial arts!
• Our entire staff loves this day! Can't wait for Halloween 2008! Imaginations are running amuck!

Halloween 2007
Finally...Christmas! Santa adorned our Fishers office and heard the wishes from many of our patients and their families. Our office was transformed into a wintry wonderland. The road leading to Santa was paved with peppermint candies and snow covered candy canes. Santa also granted our wishes by having our pictures taken with him. The doctor's children loved being Santa's elves. Even Dr. Walker and Dr. Dixon had a wish list for Santa.

Annual Ice Skating Party
Once again, we are planning our annual ice skating party. The date is Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Forum at Fishers (9022 East 126th Street). Please join us and bring a friend with you. It is absolutely free and we also provide food and drink! It's always a great evening and it's fun to see our patients away from the office.
