Meet Dr. Walker
Dr. Marisa Walker is devoted to creating your beautiful smile! She absolutely loves her career choice and the lifelong relationships she has formed with her patients. Dr. Walker is a native to Huntington, Indiana and went to the University of Notre Dame for her undergraduate studies. Dr. Walker graduated with distinction from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1993. Upon graduation she was the recipient of the American Association of Orthodontists Award, the American Academy of Oral Pathology Award, and was elected to the OKU Dental Honorary. Dr. Walker completed her orthodontic training at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, receiving an MSD degree in 1995. The faculty presented her with the Farnsworth Award for dedication to patient care.
Dr. Walker volunteers her time and serves on the board of the Indiana Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, a program which provides comprehensive dental care to disabled, elderly or medically-compromised individuals who cannot afford treatment. Her professional affiliations also include the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, Indiana Dental Association, and the Indiana Damon Study Club & Women’s Study Club.
Dr. Walker and her husband, Brian, live in Fishers with their son, Trey, and their daughter, Meg. The Walkers are members of the St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church.
